The members of the CBBA have established this association and site to promote and further the craft of blacksmithing through education and presentation. You will find dates of meetings and hammer-ins and contact information on our site. Feel free to join our organization and support our craft. We are a registered affiliate of the Artist Blacksmith’s Association of North America ( ABANA ) and a registered non-profit society in the province of Nova Scotia. Beginners are welcome !
Volunteers
We Are Volunteers
The members of the CBBA that maintain this site do so graciously on a volunteer basis. We depend on generous donations from supporters to cover the costs of maintaining the site and promoting the craft of Blacksmithing. If you wish to support our efforts please consider sending us a donation. We are happy to accept gifts of goods and services as well. Thank you for the support!
Are you interested in learning more about the blacksmithing craft? Our public demonstrations, called Hammer-Ins and other special events, are great opportunities for anyone with an interest to have the chance to see blacksmithing first hand, to ask us questions, to learn more about our association and to meet blacksmiths who live and work in the area. Visit our events calendar to see what’s coming up.
